Summer Evening Bird Walk at Woods Mill - Henfield Thursday, 4th July 2019 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Leader: James Duncan
Join us prior to dusk as we look and listen for the variety of bird species that inhabit Woods Mill. We’ll keep our ears open for the most prolific of songsters - the Song Thrush, the Blackbird, the Robin and if lucky, perhaps we'll hear the gentle purr of a Turtle Dove. We’ll also keep our eyes peeled for mammals and silent avian hunters, the Owls. Flat walk of approximately 2-3km.
Binoculars are recommended, though we will have a few pairs available on the day.
Meet at the noticeboard (by the bridge) at Woods Mill, Henfield, West Sussex, BN5 9SD.
Free event. No booking required, just turn up!
