A Warbler's Ramble (8/5/19) Members Only Wednesday, 8th May 2019 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Early May and migration from Africa is in full swing now and Woods Mill will be alive with birdsong...we hope! The newly arrived birds such as chiffchaff, blackcap, whitethroat, reed warbler and hopefully even nightingales will be in full song. If we are really lucky we might hear a turtle dove or cuckoo, while the resident birds such as blackbird, song thrush and chaffinch may well be paired up but still may be defending their territory from unpaired males.
Leader – Mike Russell
We will be walking on flat but rough and sometimes uneven surfaces.
This is a free event, but due to popularity booking is essential.
