Woods Mill 50: Winter Tree ID (18/12/18) Tuesday, 18th December 2018 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Join us for a morning on learning to identify native and naturalised tree species across the many habitats at Woods Mill. We’ll start indoors and run through how leaves, fruits, nuts, bark and methods of seed dispersal can help us to differentiate species. We’ll then spend most of the session outdoors, developing our ID skills and re-visiting trees from previous sessions. We’ll also touch on how some species have been traditionally managed and their uses over time.
Meet at the noticeboard (by the bridge) at Woods Mill, Henfield, West Sussex, BN5 9SD.
