An illustrated talk by Ian Everest, Sussex Natural History Speaker. To ‘make hay’ and ‘bring in the harvest’ sound like idyllic past times, but life was tough on a South Down farm during the 1950’s. The war was over, but there was a battle to feed the nation. The talk includes original cine film.
At the Victoria Baptist Church, Eldon Road, Eastbourne, BN21 1UE where there is full disabled access, toilet facilities and a large free car park adjacent to the Church.
