Sussex Wildlife Trust is working hard for nature at this challenging time but we can only do so with your support.

Ilustrated Nature Talk - The Butterflies of Sussex (18/10/18) Thursday, 18th October 2018 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Organised by the Friends of Gillham Woods

Butterflies and moths are among the most beautiful and fascinating animals found in Britain.

Michael Blencowe, co-author of ‘The Butterflies of Sussex’, and the Sussex Wildlife Trust’s People and Wildlife Officer, is a knowledgeable speaker who has appeared on BBC's Countryfile, and he will take us on an illustrated journey into the world of these fascinating insects. You will learn all about the species that can be found in your gardens (and also in Gillham Wood) as well as some of the more unusual species which can be found in Sussex.

Illustrated Talk (admission free)

Meet at Little Common Community Centre, Shepherds Close, Little Common, Bexhill on Sea, TN39 4SQ.

Tea/coffee and biscuits will be served after the presentation (voluntary contributions appreciated!) and you will have a chance to chat to both Michael and other members of the Sussex Wildlife Trust team – as well as members of the Friends of Gillham Wood about your precious local natural resource.
