Sussex Wildlife Trust is working hard for nature at this challenging time but we can only do so with your support.

Sussex Wildlife Safari - Old Lodge (14/08/2018) Tuesday, 14th August 2018 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM

This is a great time to visit this wonderful SWT heathland reserve on Ashdown Forest, a time when the 3 very specialist dragonflies, the black darter, keeled skimmer and small red damselfly should be on the wing. We will also be searching for the majestic golden-ringed dragonfly as well. With all these dragonflies around, there is a chance of seeing a hobby and there may still be some of the heathland breeding birds around as well, tree pipit, redstart and stonechat.

While walking around the nature trail, we will keep a look out for any reptiles such as common lizard or even an adder.

No previous knowledge or skills required, just enthusiasm!
