Sussex Wildlife Safari - Malling Down (07/08/18) Tuesday, 7th August 2018 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
This safari visits this wonderful SWT Reserve at a time when many of the chalk specialist butterflies that are in flight at this time of the year. Adonis blues should be emerging by now, while hopefully there will still be some lingering chalkhill blues as well. Common blues and brown argus will also be around and we will also look for another rare butterfly, the silver-spotted skipper. Other species will also hopefully still be in flight.
Overhead, buzzards, kestrels and red kites may well float above us.
No previous knowledge or skills required, just enthusiasm!
