An evening course outlining the basics of the planning system and its interaction with wildlife in Sussex.

A basic run through of the planning system in England including local plans, neighbourhood plans and individual applications. We will look at key wildlife legislation and guidance and outline the process involved in responding to a planning application on biodiversity grounds.

Please note this course does not provide specific advice about individual planning matters and will not result in a written response.

Additionally this course will be run from an ecological stand point and will not cover other planning issues.
