An Introduction to the Spiders of Sussex (15/06/18) Friday, 15th June 2018 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The varied structure of heathland is the best habitat in Northern Europe for spiders and Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Iping Common heathland nature reserve is the best site in Sussex for spiders, boasting 204 species – over a third of the UK’s spider species!

SWT ecologist Graeme Lyons will start the day on the site with an introduction to Britain’s spiders and then we will search the heath looking for spiders learning about their identification and ecology.
