Sussex Bird Safari - Rye Harbour (04/05/18) Friday, 4th May 2018 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM
We will spend the day exploring this wonderful SWT Reserve at a time when migrants will be arriving for breeding or passing through on passage. The tern colonies will just be establishing themselves and the avocets may well already be nesting, as will the marsh harriers. There may be a chance of hearing a bittern or even better seeing one!
Depending on the time available, we may visit Castle Water.
No previous knowledge or skills required, just enthusiasm!
The reserve is signposted from the A259 as you approach from the west. The car park is at the end of the road where you turn right. Please look at Google maps for details of route.
