Stanmer Park Nature Tots - Friday 24 November 2017 Friday, 24th November 2017 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Friday 24 November 2017 – Stanmer Park, Brighton, (Upper Lodges Site) - with Paula
Nature Tots is for 3 – 5 year olds with accompanying adults
Bring your little ones along to help them explore the natural world. This will involve getting to know the forest school site and the fire circle, woodcraft activities, stories, games and lots more!
Each week will have a different theme based in a special forest school site. Children will learn to become confident in an outdoor setting, learn basic woodcraft skills and explore their natural surroundings with storytelling, games and lots of outdoor activities. It’ll provide a great opportunity for you and your little ones to have fun in the natural environment and will aim to encourage an early interest in wildlife. Drink, snack and plenty of mud provided!
Meet at Stanmer Park Upper Lodges car park, BN1 9QB off Ditchling Road north of A27/Coldean lane. This is a different car park to the Stanmer Park main car park in the village.
Meeting point is by the Stanmer Estate Notice Board. We will leave the meeting point promptly at 10.05am.
Buses run near the Upper Lodges site and will stop, if requested, by the gap into the woodland on the Coldean Lane slip road opposite the bridge to the A27- this is not an official bus stop however. You will need to follow the woodland path Northwards until you reach the green gates and turn left towards the carpark. For updated information please visit: www.buses.co.uk
Wheel chair access at this site is very limited. Some paths are accessible but the woodland site has obstacles such as tree stumps and soft ground.
Nearest public toilets are in Stanmer Village.
