Sussex Wildlife Trust is working hard for nature at this challenging time but we can only do so with your support.

Sussex Half Day Bird Safari - The Burgh, Arundel (20/10/17) Friday, 20th October 2017 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

This safari takes us around part of the Duke of Norfolk’s estate and is probably the best place in Sussex for farmland birds. We will hope to see a range of raptors including red kites and buzzards while harriers often pass through on migration. We hope to see both species of partridges and hope also to emerging flocks of finches, buntings and larks.

No previous knowledge or skills required, just enthusiasm!

Meet at an informal parking area known as ‘The Triangle’ at Peppering Lane on the Duke of Norfolk’s Estate. The nearest postcode is BN18 9RN..

Take the road signposted to Warningcamp from the A27 and follow the road through to Wepham until just before Burpham and take a right at a sharp bend into Peppering Lane.
