The course will provide an introduction to the iconic hazel dormouse, covering its ecology, distribution and habitat preferences, along with survey and monitoring techniques.
There will be a classroom component along with a field session to apply some of the survey techniques discussed.
No previous knowledge required. The course is suitable for those with a general interest and those who wish to become more involved with hazel dormouse survey and monitoring.
