It's a Bug's Life
The summer has arrived! Come and explore the exciting world of minibeasts. Learn all about the fascinating world of mysterious moths as we open the moth trap to see what we have found. Use a net to dive into the watery depths of the pond in search of water boatmen and dragonfly nymphs and visit the meadow to see if you can find any grasshoppers with your sweep net.
Spend time at the camp site and practice safe fire lighting to make your own hot drink. Delve into the woodland undergrowth to find spiders and snails. Use natural materials to make a giant sculpture in the woods and make your own model to take home.

Please ensure children bring a packed lunch, drink and extra snacks and wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear and sun protection for the weather conditions.
Suitable for children aged 6-11 years. Parents/carers do not accompany children.
