Summer Butterflies of Sussex (08/07/17)

During the summer Sussex comes alive with many species of beautiful butterfly. This course gives you the chance to learn how to identify them and where to find them.

There will be an indoor session to introduce you to the butterflies of Sussex and then we’ll head off around the reserve looking for admirals, fritillaries, hairstreaks and other species. We may even find the elusive purple emperor.

No previous knowledge required. Classroom and field sessions.
