Sussex Half Day Bird Safari - Hastings Country Park (16/05/17) Tuesday, 16th May 2017 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Hastings Country Park is designated nature reserve containing grassland, woodland, farmland and cliffs containing a wide variety of birds and at this time of year there is still visible migration going on. We hope to see or hear newly arrived warblers such as whitethroats, blackcaps and chiffchaff, while the local peregrines may be patrolling the cliffs, where a few fulmars still nest.
No previous knowledge or skills required, just enthusiasm!
Meet in the car park at the entrance of the reserve which is on the coast side on the minor road between Ore and Fairlight.
