Snowdrop Walk - Everyone Welcome (11/02/17) Saturday, 11th February 2017 9:45 AM - 3:30 PM

Meet in good time for a 9:45 departure from the car park of The White Horse Inn, Graffham, GU28 0NT (Explorer Map 121: SU 926176, Take a road heading west off the A285 – about two miles south of Petworth and a mile north of Duncton. After about a mile and a half turn left onto a road which takes you into the village of Graffham. Once in the village, follow this road as it bears right and, as you leave the village, the White Horse is on the left.

The White Horse will be open before we leave for tea or coffee and use of their facilities: lunch will be preordered before we leave. The morning walk of about three miles includes Graffham Common and a delightful stream (where it will be very muddy) with a wonderful display of snowdrops on the banks.

We will aim to return to the White Horse about 12.30. The afternoon walk of around two miles will take us through farmland and woodland. On both walks we should enjoy good views of the nearby South Downs.

You are welcome to join us for either or both of the walks.
