Sussex Wildlife Trust is working hard for nature at this challenging time but we can only do so with your support.

Walk - Everyone Welcome (10/12/16) Saturday, 10th December 2016 9:45 AM - 3:30 PM

Plus Terry's Annual Quiz!

Meet in good time for a 9.45 departure from the Barley Mow in Walderton www.thebarleymowpub.co.uk (Explorer Map 120: SU 789105). If travelling from Chichester, take the B2178 which turns into the B2146: about six miles from Chichester turn right into the picturesque village of Walderton.

The Barley Mow will be open from 9.15 and the landlord has kindly agreed that we may use their toilet facilities: tea or coffee will be served for those that want it. Lunch will be ordered before we leave.

This morning walk of about four miles takes us through a variety of habitats including woodland, farmland, downland and a winterbourne. We have a gentle climb to Walderton Down where we should enjoy great views of Chichester Harbour.

Lunch is at the Barley Mow with various entertainments including the fun quiz (with prizes) – be prepared for a long, enjoyable stay at the pub! (not compulsory!!)
