Autumn Wildlife Migration (17/09/16) Saturday, 17th September 2016 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

September is an important time in the wildlife calendar. Our birds are migrating out of Sussex while other birds are arriving from the north. Meanwhile moths and other insects are still arriving from the south.

This course looks at why this incredible migration takes place and highlights key species to look out for. After an illustrated talk we’ll open a moth trap from the previous night to look at migrant moths. Then we will head out along the Cuckmere Valley looking for migrant birds and other wildlife focussing on where they have come from and where they are headed.

Meet at the Pump Barn, Seven Sisters Country Park, Exceat, nr Seaford, East Sussex, BN25 4AD.
