Shoresearch - Eastbourne

Shoresearch is a volunteer scheme to identify and record animals, plants and habitats along our shoreline. The aim of the scheme is to build a baseline of data on intertidal wildlife around Sussex, to help promote its conservation.

Anyone is welcome and you do not need any prior knowledge. Sturdy footwear is required and children must be accompanied by a guardian.

The Pound
With an aim to explore the coast a little further to the West of Eastbourne we'll be meeting at the usual place to survey 'The Pound' at Eastbourne but then walking a little further west along the coast towards Beachy Head

Meeting Point: ‘The Kiosk’ – small café on corner of Duke’s Drive, near St. Bede’s School.
