This general interest evening course outlining the basics of the planning system and its interaction with biodiversity in Sussex.

A basic run through of the planning system in England including local plans, neighbourhood plans and individual applications. We will look at key biodiversity legislation and guidance. An outline of the process involved in responding to a planning application on biodiversity grounds.

Please note this course does not provide specific advice about individual planning matters and will not result in a written response.

Additionally this course will be run from an ecological standpoint and will not cover other planning issues.
