Beginners birdsong at Woods Mill (22/04) - Members Only Friday, 22nd April 2016 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Towards the end of April, our resident birds are well into the breeding season and song fills the Woods Mill nature reserve. The chorus is also being joined by some of the earlier migrants newly arrived from Africa, including nightingale. Come and find out about why song is so important at this time of year, with a short talk on why birds sing, who they are singing to, what they are saying and who is listening, followed by refreshments and a walk around the reserve.
(Suitable for those with an interest in birds, but without extensive birdsong knowledge).
