Sussex Bird Safari - Pagham North Wall and Lagoon (05/02/16) Friday, 5th February 2016 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Exploring the north side of Pagham Harbour, we will look across the saltmarsh, wetlands and fields at the North Wall and then also explore around the Lagoon, which can hold scarce wildfowl during the winter. Big numbers of geese, ducks and waders visit here every winter and that in turn can attract raptors such as peregrine, marsh harrier and merlin. Sometimes mixed flocks of finches, larks and buntings congregate on the beach and divers may be seen off shore.
No previous knowledge or skills required, just enthusiasm!
Parking is limited so we will look to share transport where possible.
