Sussex Bird Safari - Pagham North Wall and Lagoon (05/02/16)

Exploring the north side of Pagham Harbour, we will look across the saltmarsh, wetlands and fields at the North Wall and then also explore around the Lagoon, which can hold scarce wildfowl during the winter. Big numbers of geese, ducks and waders visit here every winter and that in turn can attract raptors such as peregrine, marsh harrier and merlin. Sometimes mixed flocks of finches, larks and buntings congregate on the beach and divers may be seen off shore.

No previous knowledge or skills required, just enthusiasm!

Meet at the end of Church Lane, past St Thomas à Becket Church and the Church Farm Holiday Caravan Park, Pagham. Nearest post code: PO21 4NU.
