Stanmer Park Wild Woodies Holiday Club - Creature Comforts Wednesday, 19th August 2015 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Stanmer Park Event

All the woodland creatures have been very busy over the summer making a nest and raising their young so join us to help them prepare for the autumn ahead.

Learn about what animals need to make a home by helping us check our harmless small mammal traps set up around the wildlife garden. Reuse an old plastic bottle to make a bird feeder to take home.

Spend time at the camp site and practice safe fire lighting to make your own hot drink. Use hand tools to make a mini bug hotel to take home.

Suitable for children aged 6-11 years. Parents/carers do not accompany children.

Please ensure children bring a packed lunch and drink, ideally in a rucksack, and wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear and sun protection for the weather conditions.

Meet on the green between Stanmer House and Church, Stanmer Park, Lewes Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 9QA.
