Walk - Everyone Welcome

NB The location for this walk has been changed due to the closure of the Sloop Inn for renovation

Meet in good time for a 9.45 start in the car park of the Inn on the Green pub in Scaynes Hill (Explorer Map 135: TQ368232). Scaynes Hill is on the A272, about three miles east of Haywards Heath.

Menus will be provided for you to choose your lunch before we set out. Please note the pub will probably NOT be open at this time.

The morning walk, of about three and a half miles, is through a delightful mixture of open fields and woodlands. We will return to the Inn on the Green pub for lunch at around 12:30.

After lunch we will drive to the Sloop Inn (Explorer Map 135: TQ385244). To reach it turn take Church Road (almost opposite Inn on the Green). After about a mile turn left (signed Freshfield) and the pub is soon on the right. Please park in the small car park opposite the pub.

The afternoon sortie is less than three miles and is through similar, attractive countryside.

You are welcome to do only the morning or afternoon walk if you wish. If you only plan to do the afternoon walk and are not having lunch, please be at the Sloop around 2pm and let Ross know you are coming on the mobile number below.
