Summer on the Lewes Downs Friday, 17th July 2015 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
At the height of summer the South Downs are alive with wild flowers, butterflies, beetles, bees and other insects. We’ll take a stroll through our Southerham reserve to Oxteddle Bottom searching for wildlife along the way. Will we encounter the amazing hornet robberfly? The beautiful Adonis blue? The round-headed rampion?
Meet on the bridge over the River Ouse on Cliffe High Street, Lewes.
This guided walk is part of our Southerham Barn project supported by the South Downs National Park Authority’s Sustainable Communities Fund and is a free event.
