Venues in Brighton, Crawley, Eastbourne, Henfield, Horsham and Rye.
Bring your children along this September to explore the woods, meadows or beach, collecting berries for wild painting, den building or clambering over rocks, logs and fallen trees. Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Forest School Leaders are looking forward to welcoming you with a variety of exciting activities themed around wildlife and the changing seasons; from bug hunting to beach art, low ropes to mud kitchen, there is something for everyone.
Sue Curnock, Nature Tots Officer said: ‘The sessions are all about getting outdoors and developing physical co-ordination, confidence and social skills through child-led achievable challenges, while having a lot of fun along the way.’
‘We encourage the children to try as much of the activity as they can for themselves, and parents are often amazed at how resourceful and capable their children can become as the weeks go by.’
Why not give it a go? Nature Tots woodland fun sessions for ages 3-5 run from 10-12 across Sussex during school term time.
