Time to get active in the countdown to the election

With just days to go and fresh from the Restore Nature Now march in London, I am extra fired-up about making sure our electoral candidates are enthusiastic and informed as to what restoring nature means at a local constituency level and what that means regarding the backing they would be able to give, once in office, to national issues relating to nature.
We need our elected members to champion Nature over their period in office and tonight I am off to a hustings of candidates to see what they have to say on the matter. Within my own constituency only one candidate even mentioned the environment in the plethora of one page circulars that we have all been receiving through the letterbox.
If you haven’t done so already please email your candidates. Our national colleagues have created this fantastic portal for contacting YOUR local candidates – it takes about two minutes and is a great way to let your candidates know what you care about.
