Sussex Wildlife Trust is leading fun-packed outdoor activity days for children (aged 6 to 11 years) across the county throughout the school holidays.

From bug-hunting, survival skills, camouflage games, rock-pooling, to arts and crafts from natural materials; there is something for everybody. ‘Wild Woodies’ may join in the muddy minibeast mayhem in the woods, or learn how to light a fire and forage for food. They might dip a net into the pond to explore the weird and wonderful creatures of the underwater world, or sweep-net the grassy meadow for interesting insects; there will be plenty to keep the children happy.

Wild Woodies clubs are running at Woods Mill Nature Reserve near Henfield; Stanmer Park, Brighton; Seven Sisters Country Park near Seaford, Tilgate Park, Crawley, Chesworth Farm near Horsham and Swallowtail Hill Farm near Rye . Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult as the clubs are fully supervised. Online booking is essential, for further information on age suitability, activities, times, dates and prices visit sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/holiday-clubs

Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult as the clubs are fully supervised, so why not enjoy a well-earned rest while they have the time of their lives out in the fresh air!
