Sheep return to Seaford Head

Sheep are once again grazing on the western side of Seaford Head nature reserve adjacent to Seaford Head Golf Course.

There are ten Herdwicks who will spend the next couple of months helping to keep the grass and scrub under control. Conservation grazing is vital to the restoration of this area of chalk grassland. There are signs providing information on the location of the sheep and if you are walking in this area with a dog please keep it on a lead as they can be unpredictable around sheep.
