Putting community wildlife groups on the map

Huw Morgan

Community and Wildlife Officer

There’s a new map on our website which shows our reserves and a wide range of community and volunteer groups across the county. Details of the groups can be viewed after clicking on the icon, so if you’re keen to get involved with a local conservation project have a look and get in touch with them directly.

The map is regularly updated so if you’re part of a project that would like to be featured then please get in touch and email Huw Morgan on [email protected] with details of what you’re up to.

  • Cortis Avenue Wildlife Garden
In the heart of Broadwater, Worthing, our volunteers maintain the town’s first wildlife garden where you’ll find an orchard, hedgerows, wildflower grassland, beehive and ponds for birds, bugs, bees and butterflies. A calm space with disability access, we are open twice weekly and some weekends, welcoming visitors of all ages together with those interested in volunteering.
