Photo competition returns
Calling all photographers, after last year's hiatus, the Sussex Wildlife Trust photo competition has returned.
Our 2022 photo competition is now open for entries and this year's theme is Sussex Seasons. We are looking for 12 stunning photographs capturing the best of the wildlife and landscapes in Sussex.
We'd love to see your local wildlife shots, showing us the vibrant and varied nature of Sussex throughout the seasons. Amaze us with the ladybirds in your garden, migrating wildfowl, autumn leaves, macro spiders, flowers carpeting a woodland floor, colourful fungi, clouds of downland butterflies or a sleeping Hedgehog in the park. Share the wild places that are special to you. It could be high on the Downs, deep in the woods, on the beach or your favourite urban nature spot. Show us how people care and want nature to be part of their lives.
You can submit up to three photos on our website. First prize is £100 cash and the Runner-up will receive a T-shirt of their choice from our eco-clothing store.
All 12 finalists' photographs will feature in our 2023 online calendar, social media and Wildlife magazine as well as being displayed at the Sussex Wildlife Trust's AGM.
This year we are fortunate to have professional wildlife photographer David Plummer and the editor of Sussex Wildlife Trust's Wildlife magazine, Amanda Reeves, to choose the final 12 images for the public vote.
