If you've been wondering about what's been happening recently at Woods Mill in Little Meadow with works around the relatively new ponds, also known as scrapes -  the Newt Partnership have been along to reprofile and "puddle" them.

Great Crested Newts are confirmed present on the reserve and this work will allow the population to expand and thrive.

We are pleased to say that Little Meadow is now back open to the public and cattle will be in there soon to graze down the rushes and surrounding meadow and scrub.

Although it all looks a little muddy at the moment, with time it will all settle down and continue to provide a wonderful habitat for all kinds of wildlife.
