On Valentine’s Day, Sussex Wildlife Trust is delighted to celebrate great partnerships. The Trust loves the support it gets from its business members, as well as their commitment to helping wildlife. One such company is online boutique Wedding in a Teacup. Hester Lear and team sell personalised wedding, hen party and baby shower products, and their aim is to be as eco-friendly as possible.
To support the work of Sussex Wildlife Trust, they have come up with the great idea of launching two new seed packets as wedding favours. One packet contains lavender, the other, wildflower seeds, including Love-in-the-Mist and Common Mallow.
The nectar-rich flowers are perfect to plant in your garden or patio pots for butterflies and bees. Each seed packet is made from 100% recycled paper, and for every one bought, 20p is donated to support the work of Sussex Wildlife Trust.
Hester said, ‘You get a beautiful favour to brighten up your wedding tables, your guests get to take home seeds to sow in their gardens for the butterflies and bees, and you feel good helping such a deserving cause.’
