Holiday fun with the Sussex Wildlife Trust

The summer holidays are finally here but there’s still time for your children to join our fabulous wildlife themed summer holiday clubs in Horsham and Crawley says Tamara Jewell of the Sussex Wildlife Trust.

Our Summer Holiday Club at Chesworth Farm, Horsham will be on Wednesdays 2nd/9th and 23rd August 2017 between 10am -3pm. Our Summer Holiday Clubs at Tilgate Park, Crawley will be on Tuesdays 1st/8th and 15th August 2017 between 10am – 3pm.

Tamara, Community Project Officer at the Sussex Wildlife Trust, said, ‘I will be running three days in Horsham and three in Crawley during August, all with different themes. The children will be able to let their imaginations run wild as they explore the natural world, develop bush craft skills and spend time at the camp site practicing safe fire lighting under the supervision of our trained staff and volunteers. I have noticed that blackberries are ripening fast this year, so these will be perfect for picking and making juicy paints to decorate flags with in our first session.

Summer Holiday Club is suitable for children aged 6-11 years. Parents/carers do not accompany children. Cost per child is £15 per day for Sussex Wildlife Trust family members and £21 for non-members. Online booking is essential, for further information please visit: www/sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/holidayclubs
