Ebernoe Common Walk
Date: 6th November at 10.00am to approximately 12:30pm.
This walk is will take place around the ancient woodland of Ebernoe Common, led by the President of the Sussex Wildlife Trust, Dr Tony Whitbread.
The walk will focus on the ecology of ancient woodland, looking at the important ancient wood pasture, some of the ancient woodland indicators here, and we'll try and spot some wildlife too. The walk will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, and Ebernoe Common will be very wet, so we strongly advise to wear wellies or waterproof shoes.
This is free but there are only 20 spaces available so it's essential to book (see below). We will meet at the Holy Trinity Church Car Park, Ebernoe for a 10:00am start.
Please car-share wherever possible to help reduce the carbon footprint of the event.
The walk is not be suitable for children under 10, and young people under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Please note dogs are not permitted on this walk.
