Calling all young wildlife champions
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the 2023 David Streeter Wildlife Champions Award. This award is designed to recognise young people aged 16-25 who have taken meaningful action for wildlife and the environment in Sussex.
This can include:
- Raising awareness of environmental issues
- Supporting practical conservation work
- Supporting monitoring of species
- Studying natural history
These are just a few examples, but we encourage nominations for any young person who has shown a strong commitment to protecting and conserving our natural world. The winner will receive £250 in cash PLUS a free place on a Sussex Wildlife Trust course worth £47.
Do you know someone who fits this description? Someone who has gone above and beyond to help conserve our environment? If so, we urge you to nominate them for this prestigious award. Let's recognise and celebrate the efforts of our young wildlife champions.
