Burton Pond Fencing: March 2021 update

A new fence is being erected around the perimeter of The Warren, Burton. This will enable us to manage the habitat better for wildlife by grazing with hardy cattle at certain times of year. Cattle grazing creates more varied vegetation and controls invasive plants. 

Access will be maintained with gates from the paths. 

Work will be carried out from mid-February until late March 2021 and will entail some tree and scrub clearance along the fence line.
