Bio-beads update: Letter to Minister for Water

This week we will be handing in a petition to 10 Downing Street, with over 10,000 signatures calling to end the use of bio-beads in wastewater treatment after the spill last winter impacted much of the East Sussex coast, including Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

Ahead of this, Sussex Wildlife Trust's Director of Conservation, Henri Brocklebank, has written to the Minister for Water, Emma Hardy MP, to again highlight the issue and to seek clarification on when the findings of the incident report will be released and acted upon.

You can read the letter below.
