When the earth resides in fecund tress

Of gaudy blooms and wildy ness

When life alights on sonorous wings

Of abundantly vibrant sprightly things

As buds bursting whisper to Samhain

Promising to envelop the world in emerald again

When twilight indigo bells irridesce

And scent the air with earthiness

There is a gratefulness for the sanctuary that springs

From nature and all that our wild earth brings.
