Conservation Volunteer - Crawley / Horsham/ Horley

Location:
Various sites around Crawley, Horley and Horsham including Tilgate Park, St Leonards Forest, Owlbeech Woods and Riverside Garden Park.
Overview of the role:
Various nature conservation tasks
Type of tasks you will be involved with:
A range of conservation tasks at various sites, including woodland management and heathland restoration.
Experience/Skills Required:
No experience necessary. Everybody is very welcome. Volunteers must be over 18. You need to wear old clothes and suitable footwear. Bring food and drink and plenty of enthusiasm! Tools and training are provided, though for some tasks you may wish to invest in a pair of gardening gloves. You are advised to be up to date with your tetanus immunisation.
Days/Times we would like you to be available:
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We meet on site at 9:45am, start at 10am and normally end at 3pm, but you can stay for as long as you like.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Travel expenses where applicable.
