Twisted Wrack

About:
A common ‘wrack’ seaweed, grows just below the high water mark on rocky shores. Fronds grow up to 40cm long.
How to identify:
<p>A pale olive-brown ‘wrack’ seaweed, recognised by the spirally twisting fronds with an obvious rib down the middle, and the paired swollen tips which look like soaked golden sultanas.</p>Where:
Common on rocky shores all around our coasts.
