How to identify:

<p>They vary in colour but have characteristic black tail spot in the centre of their tail stalk and a brown or black comma-shaped mark behind each eye.</p>

Where:

Found all around the UK.

Fantastic facts:

The males make a nest out of seaweed that forms a large ball with an entrance hole. They will fiercely guard this.
