Little Egret

About:
A small, white heron about 60cm tall. Feeds on small fish, crayfish and shrimps. Once a very rare visitor from the Mediterranean, Little Egrets are now a common sight around the coasts of southern England and Wales after expanding their range in the late 1980s.
