Getting around

Waltham Brooks is situated two miles south of Pulborough, south of Brook Lane, Coldwaltham. Please note that the car park, (not owned by Sussex Wildlife Trust) at Greatham Bridge is closed. There is alternative parking along the road verge of Brook Lane further west towards the railway bridge (please park considerately without blocking any gateways).

From here you can pick up the footpath and a circular route around the reserve and along the river flood bank. Access is mainly via stiles. Views across most of the reserve can be had from the circular path and a spur continues across the railway track to Watersfield (please look both ways). Please keep to the path to avoid disturbance to nesting and overwintering birds.
