Dogs are welcome, but please keep them under close control and clean up after your dog. On this reserve, under the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000, dogs must be kept on a short, fixed lead, between 1st January until 30th September.

This is for reasons of nature conservation, namely the protection of ground nesting birds.

Ponies, and occasionally cattle graze this nature reserve, please look out for signs at the entrances for more details.
