The meadow is grazed most years with either our own cattle or sheep. Sometimes this will be a light graze during the summer but most often it will be as aftermath grazing once the meadow has been cut. Grazing helps keep the vigorous grasses at bay and allows all the finer grasses and flowers to flourish.

Signs will always be on the gates to let visitors know when livestock are on site. Please look for notices with further information at the entrances to the reserve.
