Bird highlight this month was a male Green-winged Teal that was present on the Beach Reserve and new saltmarsh from 2nd to the 5th.

The wildlife highlight this month was a second year Iceland Gull which was present on the Beach Reserve from the 23rd to the end of the month.

Highlight this month was a juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper at Castle Water, initially on the 15th and again on the 26th.

Possibly the most exciting find this month were several Large Conehead on Harbour Farm on 26th, with at least 12 singing adults subsequently found on other parts of the reserve on the 29th
