One Eyed Artist

Eastbourne based Wildlife artist Jennifer Harper, The One Eyed Artist, kindly donates 5% of her sales to Sussex Wildlife Trust.

Jennifer said ‘I haven’t drawn/painted anything with both eyes in a very long time, and after a conversation with my six year old niece I realised why…..she asked me “why do you only ever paint one eye?”, to which I responded, “because nobody ever thinks of the animals that have had accidents or been hurt, nor do they get painted”.

You see, it is all very relevant to the world we live in, animals get hurt every single day, and many of them by humans that only care for the prize, as opposed to enjoying the beautiful creatures who share this planet with us. Hence the reason why 5% of all proceeds will go to the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
