Go wild! Discover nature in your community with Southern Co-op and Sussex Wildlife Trust.
Whether you live in the heart of a city or down a country lane – there’s always new wildlife experiences waiting to be discovered right on your doorstep.
Spending time in green spaces makes us happier and healthier - and best of all is good fun. With the help of Southern Co-op, Sussex Wildlife Trust is helping families get outside in nature and explore our wild neighbourhoods:
Join a nature club – why not join one of our local family-focused events to explore nature hands-on. Wildlife Watch is our regular monthly wildlife club for 5-12 year olds - and there are a range of other events run by our staff and volunteers including summer holiday clubs, Youth Rangers and Nature Tots, . Check out what’s happening in your community.
Have a truly wild adventure – if you want a really wild experience, visit one of our local wildlife havens. Sussex Wildlife Trust nature reserves are home to some truly incredible creatures, including dormice, orchids and bittern. Find your local nature reserve.
Go Wild Guide – getting outdoors is often both a free and easy way to keep the kids occupied. For ideas for what your family can do in your local green space this summer, download our Go Wild Guide here.
